The Cascade Alistair is one of Ron's most popular designs to date with amazing UV through the hairwing. A mix of the deadly Cascade fly with arguably the most successful fly on the Helmsdale, the Alistair. Norway is also a very popular destination for this fly where it seems to work a treat. We get many testimomials like the one below so there must be something about it!?

Just to let you know that I had my best day ever on the Lower Tweed using your own hand tied Cascade Alistairs Coneheads, in size half-Inch.
Fishing the same pool with identical set ups apart from the fly, my frend and I took turns going down the pool, I had a fish each time I went down, totalling 4 fish, the best weighing 12lbs and he had nothing. In the afternoon we had to share the pool with other rods, so I let my Friend fish instead of me, he again blanked as did the other rods, but on his last run down he begged one of the Alistair's off me, and yes he was rewarded with a cracking fresh fish of 11lb. Needless to say the other rods and the Ghillie were intrigued to know what the fly was.
So Ron any chance of ordering some more in half inch size when ever you can do them.
